Lindsey Elder
The areas I serve in Ohio
I cover the major Cincinnati area, including both the East and West sides of town. As far as boundaries, I am responsible for all southern Ohio as far north as the location of Kings Island Amusement Park and as far south as just before you cross the Ohio River into Kentucky.
My name is Lindsey. I am 32 years old. I currently nanny for a family of 5 children part-time and am a Local Success Coach for Go Au Pair part-time. Along with work, I am going back to school to become a sign language interpreter.
I love the AP program for many reasons! I think it is a great way to provide a unique cultural experience for both Au Pairs and the family members. I also enjoy the incredible opportunity this program provides of on both ends.
I love the Au Pair program! I enjoy working with all the Host Families and Au Pairs, helping to create a wonderful experience for them throughout their year! I’ve seen what a big impact the program has on the Host Parents, children and Au Pairs and I love being a part of that!
I currently am helping with two different families and Au Pairs in the Cincinnati region. One of my families has 5 children and they have a wonderful male au pair as a current member of their family. My other family has three girls and they have one female au pair.
Au Pair Cultural Activities
Au Pairs are required to attend a number of Cultural Activities with their Local Area Representative and nearby Au Pairs to make sure they experience the local community and culture during their stay. Below will be some of the activities Lindsey’s cluster has been up to recently!
Met up at the park to chat and have coffee.

Most people in this area get around via their own personal vehicle. If you are going into the downtown area there is a bus system, if an au pair needs personal help with navigating this system, I am happy to do so. Other forms of transportation include Uber, taxis, free transportation services, bikes, scooters, etc.

Cincinnati State is a popular community college located central to the Cincinnati area. This college program works specifically with helping international students with achieving their necessary requirements.
There are also many other community and local school options that as a Success Coach, I am more than willing to work with Au Pairs on their education goals while in the program.
An Au Pair will need to get a Social Security # before getting a bank account and driver’s license. Go Au Pair will provide a welcome packet with social security information, on the Au Pairs arrival. We advise Au Pairs to wait 10 days after arrival to get their social security number. You can make an appointment at a social security office, closest to your home.
