Erica Egbert
The areas I serve in Columbus, OH
I cover the greater Columbus area, as far north as the town of Marion, east to Zanesville, down south to Washington Court House, and as far west as Springfield.
My name is Erica Egbert, and I graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I’ve taught for an Educational Service Center in Ohio and elementary schools in Colorado, eventually branching out into physical and outdoor ed. My passion for travel has brought me to volunteer opportunities in places like Thailand and Costa Rica. When I’m not spending time with family, you may find me on my bike or yoga mat.
I love the Au Pair program and the mutual cultural opportunities the exchanges allow. It’s so exciting to provide cultural events to our Au Pairs that showcase authentic local experiences in and around our great city of Columbus.
I love the Au Pair program! I enjoy working with all the Host Families and Au Pairs, helping to create a wonderful experience for them throughout their year! I’ve seen what a big impact the program has on the Host Parents, children and Au Pairs and I love being a part of that!
We currently have Host Families with young children (ages 1-4) and host parents in sales, engineering, and construction. Our current Au Pairs in this region are from South America, including Peru and Colombia. They enjoy soccer, dancing, traveling, and getting to know new places around Columbus.
Au Pair Cultural Activities
Au Pairs are required to attend a number of Cultural Activities with their Local Area Representative and nearby Au Pairs to make sure they experience the local community and culture during their stay.
