Rainbow crepes, Harry Potter spells, sleepovers and Frozen sing-alongs; these are the memories we will cherish from our time with Marion.
She is a big sister to our boys, a partner on our parenting team and a great new member of our family. Marion is exceptional in many ways, she is easy going, patient, kind and has no problem keeping up with two young (and super energetic) little boys. She loves adventure, isn’t afraid to get dirty and is the queen of Pinterest crafts for kids! She snuggles, teaches, encourages and plays. She goes with the flow and never misses a beat.
Marion has reminded me of why we joined this program; we joined knowing one day we would match with an au pair who would impact our lives in such a way that she would be a part of our family forever.
No matter how many miles come between us in the future, Marion will always be a part of our family.
Marion joined us in August and ever since day one, she has helped to give my youngest son something he has so badly wanted in a care provider – a best friend. They have inside jokes, share a love of music, and truly enjoy each other’s company. Marion goes out of her way to ensure his days are filled with laughter and learning. She even let him convince her to dress up as superheroes for Halloween.
She puts the safety of our kids, dog, and home above everything else. It’s such an amazing feeling to be able to leave for work every day and know my boys are protected and loved.
One thing that I think makes Marion stand out from other Au Pairs is her thoughtfulness. She made sure to check in on me when I wasn’t feeling well and baked my husband a birthday cake. She offered to help with cooking dinner when she saw I had my hands full with a work emergency and she makes sure to spend time with us as a family, watching movies and just hanging out. Marion is our unicorn and we are incredibly thankful to have met her.
