The areas I serve in Rhode Island

I support Host Families and Au Pairs living in Rhode Island, eastern Connecticut and southeastern Massachusetts.

I am a trained educator, mother & grandmother; I enjoy writing and gardening. I’m dedicated to the work I do with families, Au Pairs and children. I’ve been a part of Go Au Pair for 11 years as a Local Area Representative and 4 years as a Regional Mentor & Coach. I enjoy supporting lifelong friendships that develop as part of the Au Pair Program.

Host Families in the medical, construction and arts fields enjoy the Au Pair experience in Rhode Island, as well as those in human resources and education. Au Pairs from South Africa, Ecuador and Colombia care for infants, toddlers and school-aged children.

Au Pairs are required to attend a number of Cultural Activities with their Local Area Representative and nearby Au Pairs to make sure they experience the local community and culture during their stay. Below are some of the activities Joan’s cluster has been up to recently!
